Year 4

Overview

Year 4 is an important stage in Key Stage 2, where children continue to build on their growing independence and deepen their understanding across the curriculum. Our Year 4 team is led by two dedicated teachers, Ms Luing-Turnbull and Mr Bell, who work closely together to provide a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Ms Luing-Turnbull teaches Class 4LT, where pupils are encouraged to think critically, ask questions, and take pride in their achievements.

In Class 4B, Mr Bell creates a positive and structured classroom where children are supported to develop confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of responsibility for their learning.

Together, they deliver a broad and balanced curriculum that challenges and motivates pupils, while ensuring that every child feels valued and supported. Through a range of interactive and creative learning opportunities, Year 4 pupils continue to grow academically and socially as they progress through Key Stage 2.
