Admissions - Pre School & Reception September 2027

Stanley Primary School is a 2 form entry school with 60 children per year group from Reception through to Year 6. Our Pre School also has 52 children over 2 sessions.

Open Mornings

Children born between 1 September 2023 and 31 August 2024 are due to start Pre School in September 2027.

Children born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023 are due to start Reception in September 2027. 

Our open mornings will take place at 09:30 on the following dates, and can be expected to last between 1 hour and 90 minutes.

• Tuesday 29 September 2026
• Friday 9 October 2026
• Tuesday 20 October 2026
• Tuesday 10 November 2026
• Saturday 14 November 2026

Application Process

• Applications for primary school places can be submitted at the eAdmissions website starting between Tuesday 1 September 2026 and Friday 15 January 2027.
• You must apply through the local authority which is responsible for administering the council tax for your home, even if you intend to name a school located in another area.
• You can list up to six schools in order of preference and are encouraged to put your first choice of school as your first option. 

The deadline for the receipt of applications is 23:59pm on 15 January 2026. 

Applications for entry into Reception class at Stanley Primary School will be handled in line with the Local Authority co-ordinated admission arrangements.
