Year 3
Overview
Year 3 marks an exciting transition into Key Stage 2, where children begin to take greater responsibility for their learning and develop new skills across a wider and more challenging curriculum. Our Year 3 classes are led by two dedicated teachers, Mrs Leask and Ms Parsons, who work together to ensure a smooth and supportive transition for all pupils.
Mrs Leask teaches Class 3L, where she fosters a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and resilience.
In Class 3P, Ms Parsons provides a nurturing and stimulating classroom where children are supported to deepen their understanding, think creatively, and grow in confidence across all areas of learning.
Both teachers are committed to maintaining high expectations while ensuring that every child feels valued and supported. Through a rich and varied curriculum, including opportunities for discussion, collaboration, and independent work, our Year 3 pupils are encouraged to develop essential skills that will support them throughout Key Stage 2 and beyond, while continuing to enjoy and take pride in their learning.
