Pre School Admissions
We are able to provide part-time places to 3 and 4 year olds under the Universal 15-hours of free childcare scheme, Monday to Friday, term-time only.

In-Year Admissions
Please contact the school office if you are interested in an in-year admission to pre-school for the 2025/26 school year.
Self funded sessions
Parents who are not eligible for 30 hours free child care can supplement the 15 hours by self funding extended hours on a termly basis for one to five sessions per week - please contact the office to discuss your requirements.
Rising 3's - Summer Term
Where spaces are available, children that will have turned 3 years old on or before 31st March (Rising 3's) may be able to start in April, the Summer term.
Preschool Admission Criteria
Places in Preschool are allocated according to the Local Authority’s Admission Criteria priorities, which are:
- Looked after children. (Applications made under this criterion must be accompanied by details of circumstance and professionally supported evidence).
- Children who have an exceptional family, social or medical need that makes the school concerned the most suitable one for the individual child. (Details must be described on the application and verified by professionally supported evidence).
- Children who have a brother or sister (sibling) living at the same address who will be attending Stanley at the time of admission.
- Children of members of staff who have been employed at Stanley Primary for two or more years at the time of application and will continue to be employed at the school at the point of admission.
- Richmond upon Thames resident children living closest to the school.
- Other children living closest to the school.
Late applications will be considered once on-time applications have been processed.
